Methodology
Our goal is to make PCOS information easier to understand without making it sound more certain than the evidence allows.
How our content is produced
- AI-assisted drafting, human-edited: Some drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools, but every page is reviewed and edited by our editorial team for accuracy, tone, and Malaysian context before it is published.
- Checked against references: Medical claims are checked against the guidelines and studies listed on each page, not written from memory alone.
- Education, not diagnosis: Content is editorial education. We do not claim named clinician review unless a reviewer's name is clearly shown on that page.
Research
- Primary-source review. We prioritise clinical guidelines, PubMed-indexed studies, Cochrane reviews, Malaysian public health resources, and product-safety information.
- Malaysia context check. International guidance is adapted carefully for local food, clinic access, halal concerns, product registration, cost ranges, Ramadan, and Shopee availability.
- Conservative claims. We avoid cure promises, guaranteed fertility claims, and supplement claims that should require a clinician.
Writing
- Bahasa Malaysia first. Malay pages are written for Malaysian readers in a semi-formal, patient-friendly tone.
- English for clarity. English pages are rewritten for clarity rather than directly translated.
- Plain words before jargon. Medical terms are used when needed, then explained simply.
Review
- Pages show review dates where relevant.
- Major pages are checked against current references before publication.
- Corrections are handled through the corrections process.
Affiliate product checks
- We check ingredient form, dose, safety cautions, halal notes, product registration information where relevant, and Shopee listing quality.
- Affiliate links are disclosed clearly.
- Product guidance is educational. It is not a prescription, diagnosis, or guarantee of benefit.
